What is PMI Serbia Chapter?
PMI Serbia Chapter is a voluntary non-profit professional organization of project managers whose goal is the promotion and advancement of the profession of project management in Serbia and the region. PMI Serbia Chapter is registered and chartered component of PMI.

How to Join PMI / PMI Serbia Chapter?
You can easily join PMI and PMI Serbia Chapter through Membership section on PMI web site www.pmi.org PMI has clearly defined membership and payment procedures of annual membership fee.
What is the annual fee?
PMI Annual Individual membership fee is 139 USD for individual members (and 129 USD for renewal of your membership), and membership in the PMI Serbia Chapter is an additional 20 USD (from 1st January 2011).
How can a Company become a member of the PMI Serbia Chapter-a?
Membership in the PMI and the PMI Serbia Chapter is only at the individual level (the members are persons), so companies can not be members of PMI. However, commercial entities and other interested institutions for the mission and goals of the PMI Serbia Chapter can apply for legal cooperation with the Association.
What is PMP®?
Project Management Professional (PMP)® is a internationally accepted certificate issued by PMI. PMP credential certifies your knowledge and experience in leading and directing project teams and delivering project results within the limits of defined time, budget and resources. To obtain PMI PMP® certification you must meet defined requirements of education and professional experience, including successful testing knowledge.
What is CAPM®?
Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® is a certificate issued by PMI , which recognizes individuals who demonstrated an understanding of basic PM skills, processes and terminology defined in the Guide to the PM Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)®, which is the PMI’s global standard of best practices. To obtain CAPM® certification one must meet defined requirements of education and professional experience, including successful testing knowledge.
What is PgMP®?

Program Management Professional (PgMP)® is designed for those who manage multiple, complex projects to achieve strategic and organizational results.
How to earn a PMI Credential?
To be a credential holder (certified), a candidate must meet certain requirements of education and experience in managing projects/programs. The candidate must also pass a rigorous examination for objective measurement of professional competence.
To this end, it is recommended that the candidate familiarize yourself with:
1. Policies and procedures of testing found in the appropriate brochures.
2. Reference source of knowledge about project management in order to be informed on the current terminology and processes (PMBOK® Guide).
Preparatory courses organized by PMI Registered Education Provider (REP), PMI Components (PMI YU Chapter) and other educational institutions are also of great help.
How much costs the exam?

Еxam fee depends on whether you are a member of PMI or not, and a examination delivery type (CBT – computer-based testing or PBT – paper-based testing). In the case of reexamination cost is lower. Details can be found in the relevant brochures for the PMP and CAPM.
What is CCR?
Now that you are a credential holder, you need to adhere to PMI’s Continuing Certification Requirements (CCR) program. To follow the program, participate in professional development activities to earn professional development units (PDUs) to maintain your credential per three-year certification cycle.
