How to deal with leadership aspects used in troubleshooting of underperforming projects and contracts in the IT outsourcing? Presentation is based on multiyear leadership engagements in large international contracts. In addition to real-life examples, it includes some theoretical references to the revolutionary management book (“The Fifth Discipline”) that, among other things, analyses organizational systems and a need to understand them from the leadership point of view. In that context, some practical and theoretical reasons for occurrence of underperforming projects/contracts are outlined.

As a Regional intervention/SWAT team leader drives improvement programs on underperforming outsourcing contracts across North, Central and Eastern Europe. The improvement portfolio has annual revenue of more than 1B$.
In HP and IBM successfully led Transformation programs in sales and execution phases on largest global outsourcing deals.
In DEC (Digital Equipment Corporation) worked as a deputy country manager and Account Manager on largest Accounts.
Electrical Engineer for computing engineering and information analysis. Earned multiple relevant Project management certificates (PMP since 2000, IBM Senior PM and Stanford University SCPM). Also obtained Executive certificate in Management and Leadership from MIT Sloan School of Management.
